Admissions Process

If you would like to be considered for our CNA + Caregiver Dual Studies Program, you may do so by utilizing the Student Application on the website, the Getting Started Form, or by calling the CGTI Training Center at (520) 325-4870 to schedule your initial Admissions Interview.

Every prospective student must be interviewed and accepted into the program.

Additional Admission requirements include:

• Mandatory Reading and Math Testing
• Mandatory Background Check
• Verification of current income status and/or financial assistance needs
• Submission of Letter to CGTI, detailing your desire to be a Caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant
• Admissions Committee Approval to enter the CGTI Training Program

If you are accepted into the program, formally enrolled and registered, CGTI will provide the following:

• Excellent, hands on training
• Lecture, Skill Lab, and Cooking
• Extensive Clinical Training at various clinical sites throughout our community
• All school supplies, to include: Scrubs, Gait Belt, BP Cuff, Stethoscope, Textbook, and all Supplemental Courseware
• Use of the CGTI Student Computer room
• 1 Free CNA State Certification Practice Exam
• Extensive support in applying for your State Certification Exam
• Payment by CGTI for your 1st attempt at the AZ State Board of Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistant Exam ($108.00)
• Academic support from CGTI team members and RN instructors
